Basic Cup Cake

If you are a beginner in baking then you should give it a try.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups flour

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1/2 cup milk

2 teaspoons baking powder

2 eggs

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Baking Method

Preheat the oven to 180 C.

In a bowl, mix together the sugar and butter.

With an electric mixer or by hand beat in the eggs, one at a time. Then Add the vanilla to it.

Combine the flour and baking powder in a separate bowl.

Add this dry mixture to the creamed mixture. Mix well until the batter is smooth.

Pour the batter into the cupcake pan.

Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes.

Note:

To see if the cup cakes are done insert a toothpick into it. If it comes out clean then its done.

Its better to transfer the cupcakes to cooling rack after taking out from the oven.
