Christmas Cupcakes

I had prepared these cupcakes on Christmas. Small and beautiful treat.
Preparation time: 40  minutes

Ingredient

  • Flour: 100gm
  • Sugar: 100gm
  • Butter(At room temperature): 100gm
  • Egg: 2
  • Vanilla essence: 1/2 teaspoon

For Toppings

  • Whipping cream: 300ml
  • Sugar: 2 ½ tablespoon
  • decorating items: cherry, strawberry, food color etc.

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Take a bowl and mix  together the whipping cream and sugar and keep it in the freeze for about 30 minutes.
  3. Using an electric whisk or wooden spoon, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy in a bowl.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating each one well before adding the next.
  5. Add the vanilla essence.
  6. Then fold in the flour carefully.
  7. Arrange paper cases in a muffin tray. Put in the cake mix in it by using two spoons.
  8. Bake for about 15-20 minutes. After 15 minutes, check to see if the cupcakes are ready by inserting a cake tester or toothpick  into one of the cupcakes. If it comes out dry then the cupcakes are done. If not, then back in the oven for a few minutes more. Don’t overcook the cupcakes otherwise they will dry out. Lift the cupcakes out of the muffin tin and leave to cool on a wire rack.
  9. Now bring the whipping cream mixture from the fridge and  beat the mixture until stiff peaks form.
  10. Fill it in a pipping bag and decorate as desired when the cupcakes have cooled down completely,
