Christmas Cupcakes
I had prepared these cupcakes on Christmas. Small and beautiful treat.
Preparation time: 40 minutes
Ingredient
- Flour: 100gm
- Sugar: 100gm
- Butter(At room temperature): 100gm
- Egg: 2
- Vanilla essence: 1/2 teaspoon
For Toppings
- Whipping cream: 300ml
- Sugar: 2 ½ tablespoon
- decorating items: cherry, strawberry, food color etc.
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Take a bowl and mix together the whipping cream and sugar and keep it in the freeze for about 30 minutes.
- Using an electric whisk or wooden spoon, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy in a bowl.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating each one well before adding the next.
- Add the vanilla essence.
- Then fold in the flour carefully.
- Arrange paper cases in a muffin tray. Put in the cake mix in it by using two spoons.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes. After 15 minutes, check to see if the cupcakes are ready by inserting a cake tester or toothpick into one of the cupcakes. If it comes out dry then the cupcakes are done. If not, then back in the oven for a few minutes more. Don’t overcook the cupcakes otherwise they will dry out. Lift the cupcakes out of the muffin tin and leave to cool on a wire rack.
- Now bring the whipping cream mixture from the fridge and beat the mixture until stiff peaks form.
- Fill it in a pipping bag and decorate as desired when the cupcakes have cooled down completely,
