Paneer Butter Masala
Paneer butter masala is one of the most popular vegetarian dish of India. Almost found in the menu of all Indian Restaurants. The combination of milk, cream and butter makes the dish rich and creamy. Perfect if u have a party at home.

Ingredients
- Paneer: 200 grams
- Onion: 1 small
- Ginger and garlic paste: 3 teaspoons
- Tomato puree: 1/2 cup
- Coriander powder: 3 teaspoons
- Garam masala: 1 teaspoon
- Chili powder(preferably kashmiri chili powder): 1/2 teaspoon
- Warm water: 1/2 cup
- Cream: 1/2 cup
- Milk: 5 tablespoon
- turmeric powder: ¼ teaspoon
- Kasturi methi(dried fenugreek leaves): 1 teaspoon
- Oil: 2 teaspoon
- Butter: 1 1/2 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
Preparation
- Cut the paneer to desired shape.
- Chop the onion, very finely.
- In a small bowl mix together the coriander powder, garam masala, chili powder and milk.
- Heat a pan and add oil and then Butter.
- Once hot, add the paneer pieces to it. Cook on both sides till light brown. then strain and keep the pieces on a paper towel.
- To the same pan add the finely chopped onions, salt and turmeric powder and saute till onions are brown in color.
- Then add the Ginger and Garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes on medium heat.
- Now add the tomato puree and saute till oil separates from it.
- Then lower the heat and add the spice and milk mix to it. Cook for around 1 minutes.
- Take the kasturi methi in between your both palms, rub it and add it to the dish.
- Mix everything and then add the warm water and cream to it..
- Cover and let everything cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes and then add the Paneer to it.
- Cover again and cook for about 5-6 minutes.
- Enjoy with roti, paratha or plain rice.
